JUNKYARD REVERIE (2023)

Part of the Red Rock Arts Festival in Moab, UT, Junkyard Reverie was an immersive exploration of imagined futures. This interactive experience featured a portal through which those visiting were transported to a post-apocalyptic sanctuary 200 years in the future. In this strange sacred space, the visitor was invited to spin the wheel to obtain an oracle card, then make an offering at the shrine before entering a space with friend or stranger to ponder meaning-making, home, and our collective fate. At a time of cultural and existential uncertainty, Junkyard Reverie invited participants to consider our human relationship to – and effect on – the world around us.

TWO RIVERS (BLOODY RUN) (2018)

‘Two Rivers (Bloody Run)’ is the result of a month-long residency at the Mill in Vicksburg, Michigan in November and December of 2018. These two pieces were constructed in a condemned building, intended for permanent installation, to degrade with the structure. Materials used were wood, nails, staples, and 18 miles of red yarn.
